The Japanse Opportunity
The general perception is that Japan is a digital society where IT is on the forefront and innovation is cutting edge. This is very far from reality, In fact Japan is still very much paper based and digitalization is to a far extent and with a few exceptions at the level of Denmark in the mid nineties. In other words, a 30-year gap.
Denmark is among the most digitalized countries in the World and Danish companies have a long experience not just on technology development and customer experience but also in mindset.
This offers a great opportunity to tap into the great potential of Japanese customers, both Public and private sector.
Our role:
Japan is however, a notoriously impenetrable market for foreign firms. It requires an entirely different approach to negotiations and partnerships than most Western firms are used to, with innumerable cultural and regulatory differences, as well as the ever-present language barrier, providing added challenge every step of the way
We are here to help you break through that impenetrable barrier.
Danish Tech Hub is an initiative started by Mikael Nielsen and Rune Soelvesten, designed to support European businesses on their journey into the Japanese market. Our services cover the entire entry process, all the way from initial market research/intelligence to establishing contacts and entering the country. Partners can choose to collaborate with us throughout the entire process, or simply request our help for a few specific points.
